In Memoriam

We came to know each other almost half a century ago. Since then, thirteen of our dear friends have departed this world. On the eve of our 50th Anniversary, let us pay homage to them with bowed heads.

  1. Hi Lucky, Your initiative is most welcome. I was trying to recall those wonderul days but my first recollection wasn't a very happy one. I remember the awful anxiety and yes, almost fear, I experienced during the first week as the "Rag" was on. I still consider it cruel and uncivilised and an opening for people with cruelty and venom to unleash their terror on hapless victims, fresh from school. It should have been banned.

    My second recollection on the other hand is most pleasant. I distinctly recall us sitting on high stools around a cement table in the Block containing a human postmortem specimen during a tutorial conducted by the delectable Mrs G in saree. We were doing our best to entice her to lean forward to point to a part of the specimen so that we could feast our eyes on her well endowed frontal area through her low cut jacket,a sight to uplift the spirits of any full blooded man!
